About us
SENSTEC R&D is an innovative technology company operating in the field of water technologies, established in 2022 with the support of TUBITAK BIGG 1512 Techno-Enterprise Program. Our company specializes in sensor technologies and liquid measurement systems and offers customized solutions to our customers. Our optical dissolved oxygen sensor OXYTEC measures and monitors oxygen levels in water. OXYTEC is the first domestic optical dissolved oxygen sensor produced in Turkey and we are proud of our pioneering role in this field.
As SENSTEC R&D, we contribute to the development of our country in the field of water technologies by collaborating with important organizations such as ASKİ, ASAT and TÜBİTAK MAM. Our mission is to reduce imports and encourage domestic production by continuously and accurately measuring the amount of oxygen in water farms, drinking and wastewater plants, seas, lakes and rivers with domestic optical sensors.
The aim of our initiative is to reduce Turkey’s import dependency worth 40 million USD annually, encourage domestic production and increase international competitiveness with high accuracy, long-lasting sensors. As SENSTEC R&D, we provide solutions for water farms, wastewater and drinking water plants, food industry, pharmaceutical industry, municipalities and other different industries.
Our team consists of 6 dynamic engineers responsible for hardware and R&D design from different disciplines, working together with our strong academic advisors to develop innovative and high-tech solutions in the field of water technologies. In a market where competitor products have low accuracy, short lifetime and high costs, we have a strong position in the market with our high accuracy and cost effective sensors. The global water sensors market reached a size of 509.2 million USD in 2022 and is expected to expand further as the need for water increases.
At SENSTEC R&D, we develop our technologies not only to collect valuable data, but also to facilitate the processing and integration of this data into our customers’ management information systems. Our goal is to improve our customers’ operational efficiency and decision-making processes by providing advanced solutions in sensor and measurement systems.
